Where Classic Cars, Golf Greens and Good Company Come Together

Many of our guests return year after year – often bringing friends along – to enjoy everything that makes Westergate House special. From the convenience of being close to York, to days out on the golf course or visits to classic car hotspots, it’s a relaxed and sociable place to stay with like-minded people.

We’re just four miles south of York, right on the A19, with free off-road parking, ample space for trailers, and easy access to some of the best motoring and golfing destinations in the region.

Paul, co-owner of Westergate House, is a lifelong car restorer, motor engineer and motorsport enthusiast with a background in motor engineering. He’s worked on British classics, landrovers, bikes, and more – and if you’re into engines, auctions, or restoration, there’s always a friendly chat waiting over breakfast.
